(english translation below)
irgendwo zwischen stillstand und aufgeben
gebrochene seelen auf der suche nach leben
irgendwo anfangen, nirgendwo ankommen
kieselsteine, selbstmitleid, auf die fresse bekommen
so vieles schon versucht, so oft schon versagt

between stagnation and giving up
somewhere between stagnation and giving up
shattered souls are searching for life
starting anywhere, arriving nowhere
pebble stones, self-pity, getting kicked in the face
so many things have been tried, so often [we] have failed
far too often, [we] didn't dare to go one step further
far too many have been murdered, encaged, chased away
far too conform, peaceable, isolated and private
damn! i just can't take this anymore
why are there barely any hearts burning? why won't i form a fist?
what happened to the dreams, the ideals and goals?
were we too few or were they too many?
and so often, [i] had to write letters
so often [there was] the desperation of missing friends
[i] don't even come close to be able to know what it's really like
but [there's] rage, sorrow, hatred and fear that destroys me from the inside
solidarity money, horror stories and tired faces
meet up with alcohol, music and colorful lights
in order to forget, to suppress and to survive
instead of fighting, remembering and finally living
damn! i just can't take this anymore
why are there barely any hearts burning? why won't i form a fist?
what happened to the dreams, the ideals and goals?
they're folded together in your closet, lying next to the schlachtrufe sampler [quite popular punk sampler in germany]. if you work for 40 hours, there's not that much time left to play cops and black and red robbers. and a flat in berlin has to be paid somehow.

die katastrophe
03:04
|
|||
(english translation below)
---
the catastrophe
the catastrophe isn't yet to come but rather what we live in
going to work domesticatedly and killing there for nothing
full of surveillance cameras, 9-5 and nuclear power plants
full of grey routine and billions of dying animals
it would be dire to wait longer because it's going to be too late if we do
the clock forgot where it stands when it was five minutes to midnight
with the conscience in the plastic-swirl in the ocean
it will start always or never again from the very beginning
fighting struggles in order to distract oneself and having the hatred under control
wardens are forcing you into your role
freaking out would be more than appropriate
but [you don't because of] anxieties, norms, psychiatry, prison
the dream of a free life in scenes of destruction
better today than tommorrow, learning from the mistakes
overcoming the fear, the heart behind the barricades
never again civilisation! never again grey walls!

ketten
01:58
|
|||
(english translation below)
---
chains
the finger at the trigger and ellbows stretched out
no flames are burning, no fist is raised
grey masses in tempels of consumption and office blocks
are friendly smiling about this world to end soon
is life just a phrase, just a word?
does life mean to slowly rot at one place?
running against walls everywhere everyday
working for five decades on the direct way to the grave
i notice how i numb myself more and more often
waste half of my life lying in bed silently
obtuse entertainment has almost become an end in itself
i don't want to move, i just want to get away
away from this place, this world and this time
i feel chains everywhere, no second of freedom
i'm running against walls, no matter what i do
fighting pointless struggles or digging my own grave
i'm running against walls, no matter what i do
fighting pointless struggles or bringing myself into the grave

baby, i am anti-civ
02:47
|
|||
through the best of times, through the worst of times
through paris and through spain
do you remember 84? we went our separate ways
you fought for miners, i fought for freedom
you believe in industry, i believe in myself
i’m a molotov cocktail, your beer’s collectively brewed
baby, what’s that confused look in you eyes?
what i’m trying to say is that
you live in buildings
while i live in the woods outside of them
you post tweets ‘bout the looters and pie-throwers
you call it class-war, i call it insurrectional
‘cause baby, i am anti-civ and you’re techno-industrial
we marched together against fortress europe
and held hands on the streets of hamburg
but when it came time to burn down that cell phone tower
you left me all alone
you watched in awe at the black and red flag on the first day of may
while those cop cars were burning
i went on and started to burn down some other cars as well
reading manifestos that the marxists have tossed you
in the backyard of your partners’ new house
you believe in class struggle instead of reform
you got faith in the union and jackass
and to you solidarity’s not cross-species
we’re all hypocrites but you are studying
you thought that i was only joking
when i was screaming “burn cities!” at the top of my lungs
at the cops in their cars and the men in their suits
no, i won’t take your hand
and start to pay rent
‘cause baby, i am anti-civ and you’re techno-industrial
we marched together against fortress europe
and held hands on the streets of hamburg
but when it came time to burn down that cell phone tower
you left me all alone

zu spät
02:48
|
|||
ich weiß, was euch an ihm gefällt
